Well, this show starts out simple enough with Kagome, Inuyasha,
and Myoga sitting around a little campfire. It's the middle of the afternoon, and Kagome has prepared some instant noodles for Inuyasha, who is quite happily devouring them. Inuyasha asks Kagome why she isn't eating, and she gets mad at him and starts yelling. Then the camera zooms out and we
see why. the group is set up in the middle of a skeleton-filled old battle ground. Inuyasha still doesn't get
it, and continues inhaling his noodles. Then, all of a sudden, there's a bright light in the sky, and it demands the
shard of the Shikon no Tama. Of course they refuse, and the glowing light turns into a giant pink, bubble thing and
bites Inuyasha on the head. He knocks it away, and
the balloon turns into a little kitsune, roughly five or six years old. We find out that it's Shippo. (Everyone
celebrate! Shippo rocks!) Well, Kagome ends up keeping Inuyasha from killing the little monster, and takes him
with her. Then, Shippo steals the shard, puts a magical statue on Inuyasha's hands and tears off. Kagome grabs
her bow and arrow and takes off after him, leaving poor Inuyasha trapped. Shippo and Kagome run into the dreadfully
homely Maten and there's a brief skirmish in which Kagome manages to shoot an arrow through Maten's already homely face and
shave off all but one of the hairs on Maten's head. Kagome is knocked unconscious and , and Maten carts her off, planning
to make some sort of hair growth solution out of her. Shippo races back to Inuyasha, frees him, and informs him that
Kagome's been kidnapped. Then the two take off to rescue our poor heroine. Meanwhile, Hiten gets peeved that
Maten hasn't managed to bring back any more jewel shards, blows up his girlfriend, and Kagome managed to talk herself out
of being turned into a hair solution by saying that Inuyasha is in love with her and that he will trade many jewel shards
(though they only have one) to get her back. Well the brothers take Kagome and confront Inuyasha, and the battle begins.
