Episode 5: Aristocratic Assassin Sesshomaru

This show begins with Sesshomaru and Jaken searching for something they call the fang. When they approach the grave, they are attacked by a pack of evil wolves. Sesshomaru promptly shreds them, literally, and we catch site of Myoga for the very first time as he flees the grave (which he's supposed to be protecting) and goes to find Inuyasha. Then we see Sesshomaru again, and he's demanding a boat from an army camp. They of course refuse. He kills the leader, steals a boat, and tells Jaken to kill them, which he does using his evil Staff of Skulls. Jaken suggests speaking with Inuyasha, and Sesshomaru get's royally peeved and half-drowns Jaken (I wish he'd finished him). Kagome emurges from the well, with her bike. It's beyond me how she carries it out of the well. Well, afer demanding that Inuyasha let her treat his wounds, (which causes an amusing scene I don't feel like telling you about... you have to watch it :P), Myoga arrives and bites Inuyasha, and is promtly squished. THen he's sprayed wit bug killer (poor Myoga). Here we get a little information about Inuyasha, about his dad, at least. His dad was some kind of super-demon, called a Phantom beast. When the conversation moves to his mom, Inuyasha gets really angry stomps Myoga, and storms off. Kagome follows him, and they see a carriage floating up in the sky and it has Inuyasha's mother in it. Then a giant monster comes up, grabs the carriages, squashes it and holds Inuyasha's mom in his hand, squeezing her. Sesshomaru and Jaken are riding on the great beast, commanding it. Here we learn that evil Sesshomaru is Inuyasha's older half-brother. Inuyasha's mom was human, by the way. Sesshomaru thinks that Inuyasha knows where the grave is but he doesn't. Inuyasha informs Sesshomaru that his mother is dead, and that he's not going to fall for such a trick. Then Jaken informs us that Sesshomaru is so powerful, that he can bring people back from the dead. Inuyasha cuts the monster's hand off and his mom uses some sort of flower spell to transport them to the place where the dead cross over. Inuyasha wakes up, but Kagome is still unconscious. His mom tells him she must leave. Kagome wakes up, but is paralyzed and cannot move. She looks at their reflection and sees that Inuyasha's mom has none. That woman is not Inuyasha's mom!
