The show starts out with Kagome, bathing in a creek.
She's completely naked, and she catches Inuyasha looking. He says that he came to steal the jewel shard. I'm not
entirely sure I believe that but hey, whatever. Kaede informs them that they are going to have to learn to work together
or the jewel shards will never be found. Kaede then leaves to help a sick girl in the village and the two are left alone.
Kagome dresses in some old fashioned clothes after her bath (exactly like Kikyo's) and Inuyasha gets all weird about it and
demands she take them off. Then we get our first glimpse of Yura (pause for creepy screechy music). While in the
village, Kaede sees the hair and knows something is happening, also people are falling unconscious. Inuyasha and Kagome
bicker and Kagome decides to go home. Kagome stomps off to the well, but is too frightened to go down because she sees
the bones of Mistress Centipede. While she crouches beside the well, trying to build up the nerve to take the dive into
it, she notices the hair and it cuts her cheek (this is evil hair, remember) and then sees Yura (creepy screechy music).
Inuyasha is angry with Kagome and doesn't go after her. Instead, he goes to the village and everyone is floating around
and trying to kill him. Kaede is injured and after a brief argument, he picks her up and runs. Then there's a
brief battle with the hair (which tries to slice Inuyasha in to pretty little pieces), Yura decides that she wants Inuyasha's
hair because it's silver and it's pretty. Inuyasha carries Kaede into the woods, and burries her up to her neck in the
ground and calls it a hiding place (then half-heartedly promises to dig her up later). Kagome emurges from the well
in her own time, and is so shocked. She cries and tells her family the story, then takes a nice hot bath in her own
time (in the strange green water she always uses).

KATY'S RANTINGS
overall rating: 4/5
This show gets 4/5 stars. This show is important for several
reasons. First of all, we find out in this show that Inuyasha still has some lingering emotions toward Kikyo.
However, they're displayed rather like a pettish child's irritation. One point is awarded for giving us some insight
into that unbelievably thick skull of our favorite hanyou (half-demon). Second, we get to see Kagome hit Inuyasha with
a big rock, and this, to my knowledge, is the only time she does that. Usually she says her favorite word, "Sit!"
I give a point for that. Third of all, this is where we learn that Kagome can travel back to her own time through
the well and that she isn't trapped on either side. I give another point to this show because we learn that Kagome's
abilities are much more than that of a normal human and that Inuyasha needs her to collect the shards. This is very
important. Otherwise, Inuyasha would never find all those shards! Why doesn't it get the fifth point? Well, a
couple things really bug me about this show, such as, why can Kagome travel through the well without her shard of the jewel?
Why does Inuyasha bury Kaede? I mean, there are a number of other hiding places that he could have used that don't involve
burying old ladies. Anyway, that's just my odd way to look at things.
